Friends and family support

If you support a person with psychosis or with other mental health needs, either as a family member, partner or close friend,  services will often refer to you as a carer, and you are entitled to support in your own right.   Across Leeds there are different support groups and teams of workers who provide support and advice to carers depending on where you live and what service the person you are caring for is using.

Carers Leeds is a good starting point to find out what is available.

A useful national service for carers is Carers UK:
