Who we work with

We assess young people aged 14 to 35 who are, or may be, experiencing their first episode of psychosis.   We make an assessment.   If psychosis is clearly identified we can provide intensive support, for up to 3 years, for 14 to 35 year olds.

We can give intensive support for up to 3 years for anyone who is:
  • Aged 14 to 35
  • Living in Leeds or registered with a GP in Leeds
  • Experiencing a first episode of psychosis
We aim to contact people within 3 days of getting a referral, so it is important that we receive as much information as possible at the initial referral stage.   Please see our referral pack for further details or you can contact us for informal advice on:

We can also offer support and give advice to friends and family who are supporting young people with psychosis during the referral process and also whilst they are being supported by aspire.

aspire is an NHS funded service working in partnership with NHS Leeds.   Please click here to download a PDF version of our operational policy.   NB:  If you require a Word version, please contact us for more information.
