Crisis Resolution and Home Based Treatment Team- Specialist, multidisciplinary service to individuals aged 17 to 65 with severe mental health problems and those with complex needs who present in crisis and may require admission to hospital. Some individuals may be managed by the Home Based element of the team instead of being admitted to hospital. Professional referral only, e.g. from other mental health services, A&E, GPs, NHS Direct or the police etc. Will be the sole point of entry to inpatient care. Professionals can telephone the admin number to obtain the telephone number of the Triage Telephone Referral Point.
Leeds Crisis Centre– are a team of trained counsellors who offer up to eight weeks free counselling in times of crisis. The Crisis Centre is open 365 days of the year, Monday to Friday 10.00 am – 9.30 pm and Saturday and Sunday 11.00 am – 7.00 pm. Connect Helpline– Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service - For anyone who feels distressed and wants to talk, or feels lonely and needs someone to listen, or needs information on services and resources. Also offers support and information about services etc to people who care for friends or family with mental health difficulties. This is on the same number.
